I Don't Like Mondays...

"Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
I want to shoot
The whole day down..."
-Boomtown Rats
I don't usually hate Mondays, but today just sucked. Started off pretty damn good, but just got worse as the day went on. Oh well. Not going to get into it. Work. Taxes. Boredom. Rain. Yeah, you get the drift.
It'll be better tomorrow, or else.

A Bottle of Wine and A Whole Lot of Nothing...

It's Saturday night, I drank a whole bottle of wine and I am bored. Feel kinda restless, and perhaps a wee bit tipsy.

Watched Ghostbusters last night with Sarah. She had never seen it before. Can you believe it? Such a great movie.

After seeing Sarah off to the cape, I went to work this morning. I mostly just hid in the back opening boxes. Slowly. 'Twas not very eventfull. Took off at about 1:3o or so, figuring this was the 6th day I worked this week and it didn't really even matter if I was there or not. Too nice of a day to be working. No work tomorrow, that's nice. Some kind of holiday or something. Bunny Day? Think that was it.

After I got home, I puttered around the house for a bit. Played some video games, wasn't really into it. Walked to the Square, bought a cool book from the comic shop, Wizard's How to Draw. Its pretty neat, it's a collection of great drawing lessons by comic artists. Then I went to Chicago's and got a nice chicken cutlet sub and some fries. I sat there by myself and read my new book. There are some really excellent tips in it. Hit Dunkins on the way home, grabbed a medium hot french vanilla with cream and sugar. It got cold as the afternoon went on.

I ran into an old aquaintence near the corner store, Jess Philipone. I haven't seen her in like 10 years. Time flies, man. She's got a couple of kids, is engaged, and is living in the house her grandmother used to own. She seemed to be doing pretty well considering the last time I heard any news about her she had robbed a gas station. Hah. From the way she says it her brother Josh is even more fucked up, deadbeat dad with two kids floating around somewhere. Oh well.

I got home and wanted to do some drawing, but it just wasn't flowing. Drank a bottle of the sissy fruity Arbor Mist wine. Devoured a couple of slice of pizza, and then played some Brothers in Arms and Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Couldn't really get into either. Puttering around the internet. Might try drawing again.

Later.

Coffee Can be Bad...

Yes, it's true. Coffee can be bad. When you go into a sharp curve and your "travel" mug spills scalding hot coffee all over your crotch, coffee is not your friend.

Had a fairly stressfull weekend. Lots of work in the book mines, we had inventory on Sunday. But its over now and I'm doing alright. Went up to New Hampshire last night to hang out with Sarah, was cool. We went for a nice little walk this morning, saw some wild turkeys, a grouse, deer tracks, and a couple of intersting unidentified birds. Almost feels like spring out there today. Almost.

Have today off. Just gonna chill today.

And another day goes by...

I am sitting here watching Farscape (Through the Looking Glass) and wandering the net. Kinda a little bored. Feel Restless. Might go for a drive to see my chicken-selling whore, Wendy.

Had a very discouraging day at work. Just don't want to go there anymore. Too much stress for not enough dough. Just not having any fun anymore. Blah.

Had a good weekend with Sarah. Went to the Fogg museum at Harvard, was pretty good. Not as cool as the MFA or the Peabody or even the Peabody Essex, but had some decent paintings. Creepy museum guy followed us around because I had a pen and he thought I was going to write on stuff. Hah. But at least Sarah got us in for free with her wicked cool connections.

No work tommorrow. Going to do a commissioned drawing that I put off this weekend. I'll post it if I get it done. Maybe if I'm feeling ambitious I'll look for a new job.

Later.

So this is my blog...

So this is my blog. Figured since everyone in the world has one, I should too.

Yep.

Now I just need to think of something to say.

I'll see if I can put some pictures up.
