It's Saturday night, I drank a whole bottle of wine and I am bored. Feel kinda restless, and perhaps a wee bit tipsy.
Watched Ghostbusters last night with
Sarah. She had never seen it before. Can you believe it? Such a great movie.
After seeing Sarah off to the cape, I went to work this morning. I mostly just hid in the back opening boxes. Slowly. 'Twas not very eventfull. Took off at about 1:3o or so, figuring this was the 6th day I worked this week and it didn't really even matter if I was there or not. Too nice of a day to be working. No work tomorrow, that's nice. Some kind of holiday or something. Bunny Day? Think that was it.
After I got home, I puttered around the house for a bit. Played some video games, wasn't really into it. Walked to the Square, bought a cool book from the comic shop,
Wizard's How to Draw. Its pretty neat, it's a collection of great drawing lessons by comic artists. Then I went to Chicago's and got a nice chicken cutlet sub and some fries. I sat there by myself and read my new book. There are some really excellent tips in it. Hit Dunkins on the way home, grabbed a medium hot french vanilla with cream and sugar. It got cold as the afternoon went on.
I ran into an old aquaintence near the corner store, Jess Philipone. I haven't seen her in like 10 years. Time flies, man. She's got a couple of kids, is engaged, and is living in the house her grandmother used to own. She seemed to be doing pretty well considering the last time I heard any news about her she had robbed a gas station. Hah. From the way she says it her brother Josh is even more fucked up, deadbeat dad with two kids floating around somewhere. Oh well.
I got home and wanted to do some drawing, but it just wasn't flowing. Drank a bottle of the sissy fruity Arbor Mist wine. Devoured a couple of slice of pizza, and then played some
Brothers in Arms and
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Couldn't really get into either. Puttering around the internet. Might try drawing again.
Later.
