My Life as a Conservative

"Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains."
-Winston Churchill
Today is my 30th birthday. I have decided to renounce my liberal ways, and become a heartless republican. I already feel as if a great weight has been lifted off of my spirit. For the first time in 10 years, I got a haircut. No more hippie pony-tail for me. I bought myself a suit and a couple of ties. I have fully embraced my position as a cog in a corporate machine, and will dedicate all of my energies to ensure profits for my corporate taskmasters. I went to city hall today and changed my voter registration from independent to republican, and I feel great. It is so awesome to not have to think any more. All my decisions are made for me by our great leader.
I look forward to oppressing women and minorites.

Sweet! An insult! Yes!
Really hope you're kidding...Happy belated birthday.
Whew...you had me really worried. How are you?
Eh. I am alive, I guess. I feel old now. I am almost all set for school this semester, hopefully. I also started training to be a ninja. Good times. How are you?
A ninja, eh? Cool. I am fine. Busy, but less so now that the people are all gone -- I sit at my desk a lot now. I like living here, the cats are well (but FAT, especially the Twilly-meister). The chickens lay green eggs. My Nana died in September, so that was bad. And I was on jury duty for the whole month of September, too, so that sucked. But otherwise I'm good!
