Nice Weather Today.

Greetings fellow travelers.

It's really nice out there today. I am glad that the weather has finally decided to warm up a little. I have been walking to school for the past three or four weeks, as my car is not really working at the moment. It is either the battery or the alternator, and I haven't really had the time to either fix it or get it fixed.

I had spring break a few weeks ago, and I did absolutely nothing productive. I suppose I could have fixed my car then, but it was well below freezing every day and I really didn't feel like being outside in the cold. So I stayed inside. And played video games. Lots of video games. Let's see, in the course of a week I finished a whole bunch of games that I had started and never finished. Call of Cthulu, Chronicles of Riddick, Freedom Fighters, Jade Empire, Knights of the Old Republic 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, and maybe even a couple of others I can't remember right now. Oh yeah, I finished Neverwinter Nights for PC the week before. Now, I must confess I feel slightly guilty about something. I didn't use cheat codes or anything, but I did have FAQs handy for when I got stuck. If I had to take more than two or three tries to figure out a puzzle or beat a boss, "BAM" straight to the FAQ for the how to. I feel a little dirty about it, but I am glad to have finished games that had been sitting on the shelf for so long. All of the games I have listed are well worth playing, by the way. None are perfect, but all are very decent and fun games.

I have since started playing GTA: San Andreas again, and I will have something to say about that game at a later date.

Last week was a busy week in school, had a couple of papers to write. It's odd, but I think the thing I like most about school is writing papers. One little thing that occurred to me is that while I write a lot of things (this blog, for instance) no one is usually obligated to read any of it. However, with a paper for school, I know that someone is definitely going to at least read some of it. It's a novel thing for me, a captive audience.

I'm really looking forward to spring, and getting outside more. I may have been hallucinating, but I think I saw pieces of green here and there on the ground and in the trees. It's about time, damn it.

Peace.
